Bio

My name is Brittany Reck! I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Collaborative Education from Jacksonville State University in 2014! I also have received my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Thomas University and am currently working on my EdS at Piedmont University.  I love to learn and hope to continue to further my education in order to become the best teacher possible!

This is my ninth year teaching! I have taught first grade, third grade, fourth and fifth grade in the general education and special education classroom setting! I have taught each content area but I can say that I truly have a love for reading! I enjoy taking students on different adventures in books and teaching and growing a love for reading within the classroom!

I value family and all of the wonderful things family brings! I am married to Cory Reck and have been married for six years! We have two daughters, Lily who is three years old and Makenzie how is five months old! These two sweet girls have been the perfect and sweetest blessings to our family! We live in Temple and attend, serve and worship with Southern Hills Christian Church! We have one dog named Bella! We love to travel and visit new places! We camp often and love to visit different waterfalls! I am a huge fan of music! I enjoy making music, as I play the trumpet, but also love to listen to and enjoy many different genres of music as well! I played in the band at Jacksonville State University and had the honor of traveling to London, England to march in the Queen's 60th Jubilee!

I love being a teacher, especially within the Carroll County School System! I am very excited to join the staff at Roopville Elementary School this year! I look forward to continue working with the amazing Hornets at Roopville Elementary School, building, creating and fostering a love for learning along the way!
