Carroll County Schools’ CCRPI Scores Among the Best in Georgia

The Georgia Department of Education recently released the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) scores for the 2016-2017 school year, and Carroll County Schools’ scores are among the best in Georgia. The following are a few highlights of the premier achievements of Carroll County Schools. Thank you for your continued support!

  • Carroll County Schools exceeded the state average at the elementary, middle, high and district levels.
  • Achievement scores increased significantly for all 23 schools.
  • Thirteen Carroll County schools are ranked in the top 25% of the state.
  • Carroll County elementary schools are ranked in the top 5% of the state.
  • All six middle schools and five high schools showed significant increase in overall scores.
  • Villa Rica Elementary School had the third highest score in West Georgia, with a score of 94.2 out of 100.
  • Four elementary schools were in the top 10% in the state with scores over 90 - Mt. Zion, Roopville, Villa Rica and Whitesburg elementary schools.
  • Bowdon Elementary School, Whitesburg Elementary School, Bowdon Middle School, and Temple High School all received the highest possible score for students showing progress.
  • Central Middle School, Mt. Zion Middle School, and Mt. Zion High School each earned a five STAR climate rating for “the quality and character of school life”.
